Carter and Company is a leading marketing and media design firm whose sole purpose it is to provide the best, professional affordable marketing services available for sole-proprietorships, start-ups, entrepreneurs and small businesses who are operating on small budgets.

We were founded in 1994, in our first inception as Cherise Carter Designs, and have since grown into a full service, one stop marketing and media design company with 3 full time employees and a staff of 4 part time employees and interns who are attending our local Community College or other educational institutions seeking degrees in the business and marketing fields.

Our offices provide both our employees and our clients with a fun-loving, forward thinking, innovative staff ready to serve your needs.

Our website is an extension of our existing office and a place of vast and informative resources for small business owners and entrepreneurs. Through our site we offer an extensive library of articles containing information that is useful, insightful and up to date with what small business owners need and look for most - ideas and information about running your own business in the most productive, cost effective and successful manner.

You’ll often hear us touting our favorite quote: “Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish“

This quote comes from a publication called “THE WHOLE EARTH CATALOG” which, in its day, was the analog comparison to what GOOGLE© and YAHOO© are today. When WHOLE EARTH published its last issue, the back cover featured a desolate stretch of road, in the middle of nowhere, with a single line of text - “STAY HUNGRY, STAY FOOLISH” below. The philosophy being - stay hungry enough to strive for the next level, and stay foolish enough to take the risks necessary to get there.
