We’re going through changes.

A good business is constantly striving to meet the needs of its audience. A successful business is constantly growing, evolving and becoming a greater entity than it was to begin with.

Over the past several months, we’ve conducted several customer and visitor surveys to determine the best course of action to take with our websites structure and content. And as a result of those survey’s we’ve learned quite a bit about you, our readership.

We’ve learned that a majority of our readers find that there is too much clutter on our site, though once they manage to find what they are looking for, they spend on average 4:32 minutes per content article page. That’s great! But we want to make it better!

So, over the course of the next seven days (From August 14^th - August 21^st) our website and our newsletter, the Company News, will be undergoing a complete overhaul.

What will you find in the new site’s structure?

• A more in-depth description of our products and services
• A more concise approach to information dissemination
• Easier navigation between content articles
• Greater visual appeal (after all, we are in the business of visual marketing)
• A daily blog feature
• A new, members only forum where small business owners can log in, post information, articles and resources and be eligible for greater discounts on our goods and services
• More articles from Carter & Company key personnel
• Employment Notifications and listings
• Easy-to-use order forms for advertisers

In our newsletter, you’ll find:

• A new publication rate of 2 times per month (And as the newsletter grows, we may update this to be published once a week)
• Less expensive, further reaching sponsorship opportunities
• Regular columns about organizing your small business, being a solo-preneur and ways to cut costs during startups
• Regular Featured Entrepreneur interviews and articles
• Sales information and valuable coupons on goods and services
• A new look and feel to the entire newsletter design

While parts of our website will be publicly accessible during the makeover, other areas will be closed for construction. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and hope that you’ll join us on the morning of August 21^st as we unveil our sites new look and feel.
